Hi, I'm Abbey

A math tutor from Wembley Downs.

How I Tutor Maths

My Tutoring approach

Through my 7-year practice as a teacher, I have had excellent children, and have admired the adventure of constantly discovering new styles of treatment to a subject matter so that it is informative and cool for the student I tutor.

How I teach

The mentor viewpoint of mine is student-focused: my aim is always to set up an encouraging, enjoyable and warm atmosphere for learning to develop.
I react dynamically to the requirements of any student I mentor, building my training style so that it best serves their temperament and skill levels.

I also understand that students get to know well once they're doing practical things associated with their studies. This denotes making rhymes, student presentations, drawing pictures, writing tasks, using games, and other kinds of collaboration, which keeps learners active and excited relating to the topic.

I train productively and effortlessly, quickly assessing areas for improvement, and then operating easy pattern spotting practices. I pay attention to generating elementary activities for the child make their special sense of the study. I am crazy about mathematics and physics, and I do not burn out of speaking and investigating these questions with my students. It is a real joy to come up with interesting and new methods of delivering the theme so that it is always fresh and interesting for both the student and for me. My learners have always given me really positive feedback on our lessons.

The psychology of tutoring maths

Through humour, patience, and encouragement, I always make every effort to teach my children that they can much more than they imagine.
I strongly believe that my willingness to switch teaching strategies according to the needs of students, subject matter, and learner demographics are all serious for me to be efficient as a trainer.
My teaching is based on the belief that the only way to uncover maths is to do maths. Though the theory is worthy, the real comprehension comes through personal experience at solving mathematical issues, either computational, theoretical, or both.
I have also learnt that giving tasks which directly relate to the scholar's individual life can expedite their learning the theme and understanding its application.

More info about myself

My strongest quality is communication, and I get along extremely well with young adults. If taught by someone that reveals interest and also excitement about their topics, the children generally discover it a lot easier to develop an interest for the discipline themselves. I am extremely patient and I spend my time in order to make sure that the trainee comprehends everything, since it is essential that there are absolutely no expertise spaces when learning topics like Mathematics and also Physics.
